Guanacaste

As I mentioned before, I'm in the Guanacaste region of Costa Rica right now.  It's an area with a lot of history, and very distinct from the Zona Sur, where I've been with the Chinchillas.  The land is flatter and drier, the accents are different, and the roads are better.  It's amazing in such a small country that so much can change about the landscape and the people in just a few hours.

Learn more about Guanacaste and its history here.

Caroline, my daughter -
What a lucky lady! Just doing whatever you want, you have me smiling while sneezing from the springtime pollen, my goodness, it is the worse ever. I guess it was the long winter allowed the "POLLENS" to grow to max size! Keepp us guessing what you will do next, but enjoy and be safe. Love you, Buz [and Jan too!]

Caroline, this is Allison's Mom.
Since Al and I just returned a couple months ago, from CR, I have some recommendations for you to go to and not miss while you're there. Monteverde, is perhaps the most beautiful part of CR. There are some small towns that are very cool, La Fontana, y Santa Elena. Also try to do the zipline called Sky Trek Adventures in Monteverde. A trip to Tortuguero you might find interesting, everything is on stilts and it's total rainforest.
Have fun and enjoy.
