Today has been full of errand running, hem sewing, mini freakouts, and mini excitementfests.
I am almost there. Passport: check. Most neat gadgets I've ever owned: check. Plane ticket: check. Snacks for the plane: check. Courage: check?
Here's what I'll own for the next (insert amount of time) of my life:
Some of the most interesting things I'm taking:
- Solar charger!! This will keep me in tunes and reading material no matter what the environment with no harm to my mother nature.
- Kindle! No TV or regular internet means no Heroes on Hulu or Reddit.com. This is a good thing. But a girl's gotta read.
- Mosquito net! Yikes.
- Rain Pants. Ha.
That's everything!! Even the pack! Note the huge section of medicine in the upper left hand corner - BRING IT ON, COSTA RICA! :)
Love to you all.

sweet blog!!! Have fun
Oh my goodness, I love seeing all that you packed. The roll method is the best! I remember doing that, too, back in my camping days. (surely there will be more camping days in my future, i'm just in a brief, toddler-induced, holding pattern). I am so proud of how paired down your clothing section is - way to go caroline! I'm curious what all the gadgets are at the top of the bed - funny that you have more medicine/gadgets, etc. than clothes, but that probably makes sense where you are going!!! Love, Sarah
